- Ease of installation: Installing mining hoses is always likely to be a challenge, yet our products ensure it is as easy as possible. With joints able to be butt welded, there is no need for thrust blocks as part of the installation process.
- Ease of maintenance: Polytech can supply mining hoses in standard pipe lengths, complete with factory-fitted ends, allowing for speedy replacement if required. Its smooth bore minimizes the build-up of any deposits and is resistant to wear and tear.
- Light, flexible, smooth bore, anti-corrosion hoses – The PVC material used for our mining hoses is far lighter than steel pipe, is able to be bent into the often tight channels in a mining environment, is efficient in its flow rates and is resistant to either alkali or acidic water often found in mining applications.
- Self-extinguishing – If exposed to fire, our PVC mining hoses will only burn in the area in direct contact with the flame and will stop burning when the flame is removed. This limits the spread of any fire to the smallest possible area.
